Ryan Gosling’s Gangster Squad Premiere Date: His Mom

Ryan Gosling stepped out on Monday night at the premiere of “Gangster Squad,” but girlfriend Eva Mendes was not by his side. Instead, the actor had another special lady on his arm, his mother Donna.

Access Hollywood caught up with the adorable pair, where Donna told us how thrilled she was to be at her son’s big night.

“I’m so excited to see [the movie],” the actor’s mom told Access. “Very excited.”

“Doesn’t sound like your excited,” Ryan joked with his mom, suggesting she give her answer another shot. “Take a break. Don’t rush it. In your own time. Action.”

“I am so excited to see this movie!” Donna added with a laugh.

“No. Let’s go to lunch. I’ll take you to lunch, well just wait till you’re ready,” Ryan told his my with a smile.

“I’ll have your people call my people,” the actor’s mom said.

Ryan told Access that he was thrilled to be reuniting with his “Crazy, Stupid, Love.” co-star Emma Stone.

“It was great. She’s the best. We had so much fun on ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love.’ We probably had too much fun here,” the 32-year-old actor said.

Their new drama, set in 1940s Los Angeles, required a new dynamic of the actors – and some serious movie magic.

“We didn’t realize we had to be dramatic which was difficult for us. So this is really a feat in editing, that they managed to cut something serious out of the crap that we gave them,” he added.

Emma echoed Ryan’s sentiments about working together again.

“It was great,” Emma told Access. “[Ryan] is pretty great.”

“Gangster Squad” hits theaters on January 11.
