If only Ryan Lochte had coined a term for the opposite of “Jeah!”
The three-time Olympian and former reality TV star had a run-in with a female teenage fan – literally!
His rep told USA Today that he suffered a torn MCL and sprained ACL last weekend after a very excited fan ran towards him and the swimmer caught her, but toppled over and injured his knee on a curb.

“As a result of a freak injury caused by an unexpected fan encounter, Ryan has suffered a torn MCL and an ACL sprain and will be taking a break from training and competition,” his rep said in a statement to the publication.
Adding, “His medical team expects him to make a full and speedy recovery and Ryan thanks everyone for their well wishes.”
Ryan, who won two gold medals, two silver and a bronze at the London Olympics, appeared on E!‘s “What Would Ryan Lochte Do?” for one season.
