Ryan Lochte In Talks To Join ‘Dancing With The Stars’ (Reports)

Ryan Lochte is in talks to join “Dancing with the
Stars,” according to multiple reports.

On Wednesday, USA Today Sports reported that “a person
familiar with the deal” told the outlet that the Olympian was “locking
down a deal” that was “in the works before his Olympic saga.”

Additionally, People reported on Wednesday that a source told the outlet the athlete was “in talks” to
join Season 23, which premieres on September 12 on ABC.

Since it was revealed that Lochte fabricated some of his Rio robbery story, the Olympian has lost several sponsorships, including Speedo, which announced earlier this week on its Twitter account the brand was donating a $50,000 “portion of Lochte’s fee to Save The Children.”

On Tuesday’s “Good Morning America,” eight of the pros returning for the new season of “Dancing” were revealed. They are: Val Chmerkovskiy, Sharna Burgess, Witney Carson, Artem Chigvintsev, Lindsay Arnold, Sasha Farber, Gleb Savchenko and Allison Holker.

As previously reported, a source told Access Hollywood that talk show host Amber Rose is set to compete in the new season.

In addition, rumors were sparked on Wednesday that Maksim Chmerkovskiy could be back in the ballroom when a fan tweeted a photo of Amber in a sequined “Dancing”-esque outfit, taking a selfie next to the pro dancer.

The full cast of “Dancing with the Stars” will be revealed on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday.
