Samuel L. Jackson Talks Nick Fury Spinoff

After playing S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury in five Marvel films, Samuel L. Jackson is looking forward getting his own movie.

“I’m okay with that,” the actor told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson when asked about possibly starring in multiple Nick Fury movies.

Marvel is currently developing “Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D,” with a release date yet to be determined.

So what would a movie about the super-spy be about if it were up to the actor?

“Nick Fury has no power so it’s gotta be something cool, kind of undercover,” the actor explained.

And if Sam has his way, Scarlett Johansson – who plays S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow in “The Avengers” – will be in the movie.

“Probably would be me and Black Widow because Scarlett and I don’t have powers,” he continued. “But we’re kind of from the same world.”

Adding, “Shadow world of spies and, you know, guns and knives!”

“The Avengers,” which also stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner, hits theaters on May 4.
