Can Sarah Palin see Russia from Studio 8H?

The former Alaska Governor and one-time Republican Vice Presidential Candidate is coming back for the show’s 40th anniversary special, People reported.

A People source said the polarizing political figure was invited back to the NBC series by “SNL” producer Lorne Michaels.

Palin was spoofed by Tina Fey numerous times during the 2008 presidential race and the VP candidate appeared on the series two weeks before the election. During the appearance, Amy Poehler rapped about her while the politician sat at the Weekend Update desk and grooved along.

Tina’s spoof gave us dialogue gems like, “I believe [global warming is] just God hugging us closer,” and “I can see Russia from my house!”

A rep for “SNL” had no comment when contacted by Access Hollywood.

“Saturday Night Live’s” 40th anniversary special airs on February 15 at 8 PM ET on NBC.
