Saturday Night Live Parodies Brad Pitt Chanel Ads

“Saturday Night Live” had a field day with Brad Pitt’s new ad campaign for Chanel No. 5 (for which the actor reportedly earned a whopping $7 million as the company’s first-ever male spokesman).

“SNL” star Taran Killam appeared as Brad, dressed in his Chanel No. 5 commercial garb, to mock the perfume campaign with four separate ads throughout Saturday’s show.

In the first clip, Taran (as Brad) recites the original Chanel lines before stopping abruptly to ask, “I’m sorry – is there really no script?

“I’ve been talking to myself for like two hours straight and I’m starting to sound insane,” he continued. “What? You want me to sound less coherent? Really? Okay, I can just start making up words?”

Making up words like, “splendiferous” and “magnificus,” Taran stops yet again to ask, “Is it just me or do I look super homeless? Oh — that’s what you want? Rock ‘n’ roll.”

Clip number two was for Taco Bell’s Doritos Taco Loco.

“It’s like pouring a bunch of loose meat and cheese into a bag of Doritos,” Taran’s Brad said. “Which, by the way, is a great way to make a quick meal when you have between eight and 20 children.”

The third ad was for canine contraception – yes, seriously.

“There’s a yearning inside of all of us – a yearning for love, companionship, passion, and that yearning for never dies… even if you’re a dog. Franklins dogs condoms,” Taran said. “He’s your best friend – why not be his, and let him keep his b***s?”

The final commercial of the evening was for a dermatologist’s office.

“A snake wrapped around a skull and a Celtic cross. The ancient Chinese symbol for water, and an anchor that says, ‘Slut.’ These are all tattoos that you could have removed by Dr. Zizmor,” said Taran.
