Savannah Guthrie Gives Birth!

Savannah Guthrie gave birth on Wednesday to her first child and announced the exciting news via Twitter on Thursday.

“My 3am wake up call sounds a lot different now. Sweeter…” she Tweeted.

The “Today” show co-anchor and her husband, Mike Feldman, welcomed daughter Vale Feldman, who weighed 8.5 lbs. and measured 19.5 inches.

Earlier this year, the 42-year-old wrote about her first pregnancy on her “Today” baby blog.

“I’m 42 years old, and I honestly didn’t know if I’d ever get this chance,” she wrote. “I’ve never been more thankful, or felt more blessed from above. I know how lucky I am. For a long time, I think I was afraid to even let myself think about how much I hoped to one day have a baby.”

Savannah and Mike got married in March.
