Scott Wolf On Expecting A Baby Boy & Shopping For Maternity Wear

Scott Wolf can barely contain his excitement over his impending arrival with wife Kelley — a baby boy.

On Wednesday, Wolf, 40, first confirmed news that he and wife Kelley, 32, a former “Real World: New Orleans” castmember, were expecting their first child together to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush. And, in a new interview with Billy for Access and “The Billy Bush Show,” the former “Party of Five” star sounded like a kid waiting for Christmas when he spoke about his little boy on the way.

“I can’t wait. I truly cannot wait,” Scott enthused. “I’ve been asking Kelley, ‘At what point can the child truly live outside your body, because we should just go get him.’ This whole nine month business seems way too long to wait to meet him.”

Scott said Kelley has been doing well coping with maternity-related issues.

“She’s a rock star. She’s making it look incredible,” Scott said of his wife of four years. “She’s having all the normal stuff and not feeling great and feeling exhausted a lot of the time, but she’s just more beautiful than ever and it’s an amazing, amazing thing.”

And watching his wife in bloom has made the actor fall for her even harder.

“Just seeing this person you love so much carrying your child, it’s beyond,” Scott gushed to Billy. “You didn’t think you could fall deeper in love with somebody and then this happens and yeah, we could not be happier.”

When asked about Kelley’s expanding “upper deck,” Scott confirmed his wife’s pregnancy has come with added bonuses.

“Yes. Oh, yes, yes! Actually… I got dragged along yesterday shopping for a new garment to accommodate our new friends and it’s remarkable phenomenon,” Scott laughed. “And from what we understand — I guess Kelley’s been talking to girlfriend’s about it and I guess some people hang on to them afterward. I guess, it’s been known to happen.”

Joking aside, Scott said he and Kelley are thrilled with their baby news and it came with some extra joy, when he told Grandpa Wolf about the little one.

“It’s unbelievable. The boy part of it — we wanted a healthy baby, it did not matter the sex, boy-girl, but there’s something about… My dad does not have a male grandchild at this point, so to be able to call my pop and tell him I’m carrying on the name was a nice thing to be able to do,” Scott added.
