‘Scream Queens’ Stars Tease Season 2

The trenta, no foam, five-shot, half caf, no foam pumpkin
spice latte, with no foam, at 210 degrees
may be a thing of the past when “Scream Queens” returns for Season 2, as the Chanels will be walking the halls of a
medical facility.

Season 2 is set around a hospital, run by Jamie Lee Curtis’
Dean Munsch, and the new setting paves the way for the injection of some new
blood to the cast – John Stamos and Taylor Lautner, who are playing doctors.

“I love the idea that Ryan [Murphy, ‘Scream Queens’
Executive Producer] and company felt like they’d said what they had to say with
the sorority and that they wanted something new,” Jamie Lee told Access
Hollywood at the recent Fox portion of the Television Critics Association
Summer Tour,. “And, as we’ve started shooting, all of us have said… we’d be
so bored if we we’re back at Kappa House. So I do feel like this is a really
smart, interesting, very clever idea of changing up the location, even though
the characters are the same. So bringing in a couple doctors has been very
fun.”

John said he has been enjoying working on the Fox series.

“I think we’re having a fun thing with the two doctors
in the first episode. My guy’s kind of an a**. A little pushy with him,”
he said, referring to Taylor’s character.

“But it’s been good,” Taylor added. “We’ve
only been filming a few weeks, so it’s been some quick bonding, but it’s been
fun so far.”

And there appears to be some romance built into the new
season right away.

“John and Taylor are doctors and they also play some of
our love interests. There’s been some kissing happening, which has been fun.
And yeah, we love having them,” Emma Roberts, who plays the original Chanel, told Access Hollywood.

Asked if she has a kissing scene with either Taylor or John, Emma responded, “Chanel has a kissing scene with
one or both of them.”

Season 2 brings new cast members, character love
connections, and of course, despite the hospital setting, more fashion.

“[There are] a lot of the same characters from last
season, but we’re now in a hospital setting, so the Chanels’ attire is much
different,” Emma told Access Hollywood, noting the Chanels will be “re-wearing a lot of clothes from last season.”

“And
then, you’ll see us in doctor outfits, but of course we have to Chanel-ify them
so there are a lot of rhinestone stethoscopes,” she added of a future fashion switch-up.

Lea Michele, whose character, Hester Ulrich, began Season 1
with frizzy hair and a neck brace, played coy when it came to answering a
question about her Season 2 look.

“No neck brace, no eye patch, but [there is] a new look
that you will see,” she said.

The show is called “Scream Queens” and no
horror-inspired series would be complete without a murderous character. But, as
of right now, that person is a mystery.

“It’s a color. That’s what I can tell you. It’s a
primary color,” Jamie Lee said.

And, starring on a show that kills off almost a character an episode has the cast a little scared to read the script each week.

“It’s like ‘Survivor,'” Billie Lourd, who plays
Chanel #3, joked. “It’s like we could be
voted off the island at any moment.”

“I really react as a fan to the scripts,” Keke
Palmer, who returns as Zayday in Season 2, added. “I’m totally reading the
scripts as a fan that reads the scripts as opposed to watching the show. So
every script I get, I feel like I’m getting more and more details, I’m learning
more about what’s happening and then I realize that I’m in it.”

“Scream Queens” returns for Season 2 on September
20 at 9/8c on Fox.
