Selena Gomez On Justin Bieber: ‘I’ll Always Care About Him’

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber might be over (for the moment), but Selena’s feelings for the pop star will endure.

The recent birthday girl, who turned 21 this week, appeared on “Good Morning America” on Friday, where she was asked about her split with the Biebs and how they are remaining friends.

“That’s because he and I have had such a history together,” she explained. “I’ll always care about him and protect him if anyone tries to be mean.”

During her “GMA” appearance, the singer/actress treated fans to three songs off of her latest album, “Stars Dance,” including “Come & Get It,” “Slow Down,” and “Birthday.”

So how does the 21-year-old balance her acting and music endeavors?

“I don’t feel like I’m settled yet,” she said of managing her busy work schedule. “I’m just kind of focusing on my work. I feel like the moment I’m not working, I get bored and then I go crazy. I’m gonna keep going, I think.”

And when she’s not working, Selena said she likes to dance, sleep and be “at home watching movies.”
