Kristin Davis, who played the Park Avenue-posh Charlotte York Goldenblatt in “Sex and The City,” appears to be a southern belle at heart.
Following in the footsteps of fellow “Sex” star Sarah Jessica Parker, who has a clothing line called “Bitten,” Kristin is launching her own line of clothing with the North Carolina-based department store chain Belk Inc., according to a statement released by the retailer.
Kristin, who is a South Carolina native, told Women’s Wear Daily that Belk has been a part of her life since childhood.
“I grew up shopping at Belk. It was the nicest store we had, and I’d save my allowance to go [there],” she told WWD.
Kristin’s as-of-yet unnamed label is said to be a “modern, feminine, style-savvy” line that will include apparel, sleepwear, loungewear, shoes, handbags and jewelry, ranging in price from $38 – $240.
