“Sharknado 2: The Second One” is adding even more stars to fight flying sharks!
Syfy announced that Kelly Osbourne, Judd Hirsch, Andy Dick, Judah Friedlander, Vivica A. Fox and Mark McGrath will join Ian Ziering and Tara Reid in the (what we can only imagine will be beyond campy, cheesy and cringe-worthy) sequel.
Kelly will play a flight attendant and Andy will exercise his acting chops as a cop.
Vivica is slated to play an old high school friend of Ian’s Fin character.
In the follow-up, a freak weather system turns its deadly fury on New York City, unleashing a Sharknado on the Big Apple and Ian and Tara’s characters are called in to save the day (and probably drop numerous shark-NYC puns and one-liners)
“Sharknado 2: The Second One”, which will be filmed in New York City, is scheduled to premiere on Syfy in July.
