Sheryl Crow Thanks Fans For Support Following Her Benign Brain Tumor Diagnosis

Sheryl Crow has thanked fans for their well-wishes, after news broke that she has a benign brain tumor.

“Hey everyone – don’t worry about my ‘brain tumor,’ it’s non-cancerous. Feeling healthy, happy & working on my new record,” she Tweeted on Tuesday.

“Appreciate the love and support, I’m fine, really! Watch me on @TheTonyAwards this Sunday night!” she added.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Chief Medical Correspondent for CNN, spoke with Crow and recounted on the news channel that the singer told him she discovered the tumor a few months ago.

Dr. Gupta said the tumor is located on the right side of the performer’s brain, and although her own doctor said she didn’t need surgery, she is getting scans to keep tabs on it.
