What’s better than Maddie Ziegler performing modern dance to the rousing sound of Sia’s flawless vocals?
Maddie Ziegler performing modern dance with Shia LaBeouf to Sia’s soulful voice, obviously!
Sia released the music video for her new ballad “Elastic Heart” on Wednesday, featuring 12-year-old “Dance Moms” mover Maddie performing with the 28-year-old movie star.
Shia is nearly naked in the clip, sporting flesh-colored boxer briefs and frayed fighter tape around his knuckles, while Maddie wears a nude bodysuit and platinum blond bob wig (seemingly identical to what she wore in Sia’s “Chandelier” video).
In the animalistic, cagematch-themed clip, Shia and Maddie modern dance battle each other inside what appears to be a giant metal birdcage, with emotions ranging from anger, compassion, hurt, kindness and love.
The video ends with nearly 50 seconds of silence as Maddie struggles to free Shia from the cage, while tears stream down his face.
(Oh, and Maddie smells Shia’s fingers and bites him as well, so enjoy that.)
