Shia LaBeouf Injured On Set Of ‘American Honey’

Shia LaBeouf “sustained minimal injuries” on the set of his new movie “American Honey,” his rep confirmed to Access Hollywood on Wednesday.

The “Fury” star was hospitalized on Tuesday night after shooting a scene in which his character puts his head through a glass window. LaBeouf’s rep said the production team was simply following “protocol” when they sought medical attention for the actor. LaBeouf received stitches for lacerations on his head and hand, and is slated to resume filming in North Dakota on Thursday.

This isn’t the first time LaBeouf has hurt himself on the job. In 2008, the 29-year-old cut his eye with a prop during the making of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” and resumed work immediately. Earlier that year, he was involved in a car accident that resulted in multiple hand surgeries and caused “Revenge of the Fallen” director Michael Bay to write the injury into the script.
