The ski resort where Natasha Richardson suffered her tragic accident has reached out to extend its condolences to the late actress’ family.

“Following the official announcement of Ms. Richardson’s passing, the Tremblant team wishes to extend its most sincere condolences to Ms. Richardson’s family and friends at this sad and difficult time,” the Tremblant resort said in a statement to Access Hollywood on Thursday. “Our staff at Tremblant intends to fully cooperate with any resulting investigations.”

“Out of respect for the family, and their request for privacy, we will not comment further,” the statement continued.

Natasha, who was 45, fell during a private lesson at the Quebec resort on Monday. She died on Wednesday after two days of hospitalization.

The New York City medical examiner’s office was performing an autopsy early Thursday to determine the cause of death.
