‘SNL’s’ Pete Davidson Honors Firefighter Dad Killed On 9/11

Pete Davidson normally makes us laugh, but on Friday, he brought the tears.

The comedian and “Saturday Night Live” cast member posted a series of lump-in-the-throat-inducing Tweets honoring his late father, a firefighter who was killed during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

“Can’t believe its been 14 years… RIP Dad #NeverForget,” he Tweeted, along with a vintage photo of him and his dad.

He re-Tweeted the FDNY’s remembrance Tweet, and shared another throwback photo of his father.

Pete, who was just 7 years old when his dad was killed, received many supportive Tweets from his “SNL” family.

The comedian thanked his friends and followers for their support.
