SNL’s Vanessa Bayer On Miley Cyrus’ Hosting Return: ‘I’m Just So Excited For Her’ To Come Back

Miley Cyrus is heading to NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” on October 5, to host for the second time, and featured player Vanessa Bayer can’t wait.

“She’s doing so much great stuff and I’m just excited she’s coming to the show soon. So, very much looking forward to that,” Vanessa, who has portrayed Miley many times on “SNL,” told Access Hollywood on Monday night at NBC’s fall party.

Asked about Miley’s Video Music Awards performance and whether it’s providing inspiration for the sketch comedy, Vanessa just said she is looking forward to the 20-year-old singer’s return.

Before Miley hosts and serves as musical guest, Tina Fey will return for the show’s 2013-2014 season opener, on September 28, as host.
