Sofia Vergara says her “fairy
tale” wedding to Joe Manganiello “came out perfectly,” except
for one detail – Ellen DeGeneres wasn’t there!
The “Modern Family” bombshell taped an appearance for Thursday’s “Ellen,” where she dished about her blowout nuptials and playfully gave the apologetic host a hard time for not attending.

“You are not really sorry,”
Sofia told Ellen, adding that the gift bags handed out during the festivities
were only for “people who went.”

“It was my family and closest
friends,” the actress joked, after Ellen mentioned that 400 guests were
present for the nuptials.
“That’s a big family,” Ellen
replied.

The comedian tried once again to turn the
subject away from her absence, but Sofia continued jabbing her pal.
“Were you intimidated because of the
dancing that was going to go on?” she asked Ellen. “You do your
little dancing here, but I had a feeling you thought you weren’t going to be
able to measure up with the Latin people.”
It’s possible Ellen would have had her
work cut out for her – according
to Sofia, the festivities continued until
sunrise.
“Like six in the morning,” she
said of when things wrapped up. “We had like a party, and then we had an
afterparty.”

Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan Tatum and Reese Witherspoon were just a sample of
the famous faces on hand to honor Sofia and Joe’s big day.
In addition, Sofia said her “Modern
Family” castmates also arrived ready to party.
“They were there, they were
tipsy,” Sofia said of her co-stars. “Even Ed O’Neill was there … they
had a great time, I think.”
Sofia and Joe tied the knot at the
Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Fla. on Nov. 22. The bride wore a custom Zuhair
Murad gown, while her groom donned a John Varvatos tux. Wedding planner Mindy
Weiss oversaw the event, while celebrity florist Jeff Leatham designed
the ornate décor.
Performers included Pitbull, Gloria
Estefan and Marc Anthony, and Sofia’s 23-year-old son, Manolo, walked her down
the aisle.
“We had a great time. A lot of food,
a lot of flowers, a lot of nice people.” Sofia said of the celebration,
before poking friendly fun at Ellen one more time.
“You missed a very good party,”
she smiled.
