Source: Farrah Fawcett’s Overall Health Prognosis Is Positive

Producer of Farrah Fawcett ‘s documentary, Craig Nevius, spoke exclusively to Access Hollywood saying that the actress is doing very well.

Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in September 2006, which was followed by chemotherapy and radiation. She was later diagnosed as cancer free, only to find out in spring 2007 that the cancer had returned.

Nevius said the former “Charlie’s Angels” star returned from Germany six months ago, after receiving an advanced form of cancer treatment.

He also explained that Fawcett is not currently receiving chemotherapy, but is receiving follow-up care and is working on strengthening her immune system.

Fawcett took some time off from finishing her documentary, “A Wing and a Prayer,” which is scheduled to air later this year, to celebrate her 62nd birthday Monday. Fawcett celebrated with her long-time love, Ryan O’Neal, and their son Redmond, who is now 24-years-old.

On the topic of O’Neal, Nevius said that they remain one another’s “significant other” and that they are “co-parents” to Redmond.
