Missed the latest Spice Girls tour? You just might be out of luck. According to a new report, the fab five may never reunite again.
“[Another outing] probably won’t happen ever again,” Geri “Ginger Spice” Halliwell told Billboard. “This is the last time you will ever get to see this Girl Power, the five Spices on the stage as one.”
Halliwell did, however, later pull back somewhat from her statement, laying the groundwork for another go, should the girls change their minds.
“What this reunion taught me is you can never say never,” Halliwell said. “If you had asked me 10 years ago whether there’d ever be a Spice Girls reunion concert, I’d have gone, ‘No f—ing way!”‘
The perky Spice Girl said that they were disappointed to cut their tour short, but that it was always the ladies’ plan to end it by February.
“We thought we were only going to go to the end of January. After February everybody had commitments — kids had to go back to school and that. So we had to leave places out that we would have loved to have gone to,” she said.
