Is Jamie Foxx about to get tangled in Spidey’s web?
According to Variety, Jamie is in talks to play Electro in Sony’s upcoming “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.”
The actor, who will next be seen on the big screen in Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained,” seemed to hint he might be taking on the voltage-wielding villain.
“Dressed up as Electro for Halloween last night,” he Tweeted on Thursday. “Costume fits well.”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, “The Descendants” star Shailene Woodley is also in talks to join the superhero sequel as Peter Parker’s (played by Andrew Garfield) ladylove, Mary Jane Watson.
The Marc Webb-directed project is also working on casting Peter’s best friend/enemy, Harry Osborn, Variety reported.
“The Amazing Spider-Man 2” sequel will swing into theaters on May 2, 2014.
