After more than a year and 260 episodes, the main character in the Web drama “LonelyGirl15,” has been taken out. The 12-episode finale was posted yesterday.
Sixteen-year-old Bree was killed off by a religious cult that had chased her for the life-giving qualities of her rare blood type. The last scene shows Bree lying lifeless on a table while her blood is transfused into one of the cult’s elders.
But fans, fear not. Bree reveals the cult is pursuing other girls with the same blood properties, setting the show up for its second season.
Actress Jessica Lee Rose sparked a sensation last year when it was revealed that Bree was not a real person posting video blogs on YouTube.
