Stacey Dash has landed a new gig as a Fox News contributor and the actress confessed she’s got a crush on one of her network co-workers – Bill O’Reilly.
“I’m just a huge fan,” the former “Clueless” star told Billy Bush, Kit Hoover and guest co-host Brooke Burns on Wednesday’s Access Hollywood Live.
“He is [my celebrity crush],” she said of the “O’Reilly Factor” host. “[I’m attracted to] the strength, the power, the intelligence, the wit.”
Stacey’s journey to Fox News began after she experienced a social media backlash after endorsing Mitt Romney for President over Barack Obama.
”[The backlash was] because I didn’t back the black guy and I’m black,” she explained, when asked how her foray into conservative politics got its start.
“Were the Tweets mostly from black people do you think?” Billy asked.
“Yes – I don’t ‘think,’ I know. It’s absurd,” she replied. “I don’t respond. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but I’m still going to stand for what I believe in.”
The actress said she was bombarded with hate-filled responses after coming out in favor of Romney, but she wasn’t deterred.
“People told me to kill myself, stuff like that. But I’m from the South Bronx – I don’t scare easily,” she laughed.
