‘Star Wars: Episode VII’: J.J. Abrams Debuts X-Wing!

First a glimpse of the Millennium Falcon, now “Star Wars” fans know the X-Wing fighter will be appear in “Episode VII.”

Director J.J. Abrams debuted the vehicle, the same type Luke Skywalker used to destroy the Death Star, on Monday in a video urging fans to continue their support of Force for Change, which supports theUnited Nations Children’s Fund’s (UNICEF) Innovation Labs and programs.

The director announced a new incentive to donate to the program, a chance to see an advanced screening of “Star Wars: Episode VII” in your hometown with 20 guests.

During the announcement, the director is interrupted by an X-Wing pilot boarding the battle-ridden X-Wing. Also making an appearance in the video, a droid that looks very similar to one first seen in “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope” roaming around the Death Star.
