Stars Visit Backstage Emmys Gift Lounge For Great Products & A Great Cause

Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars took time out of their Emmy weekends, to stop by The Emergen-C Gift Lounge Backstage at The Nokia Theatre in celebration of The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards – and not only did they get their hands on some great gifts, it was all for a great cause.

Stars including Aaron Paul, Ashley Judd, Aziz Ansari, Bill Hader, Brooke Burke Charvet, Ed O’Neill, Eric Stonestreet, Ginnifer Goodwin, Hayden Panettiere, Jimmy Fallon, Jon Stewart, Josh Groban, Kat Dennings, Kerry Washington, Matthew Perry, Max Greenfield, Mayim Bialik, Melissa McCarthy, Michael J. Fox, Mindy Kaling, Ron Howard and Tina Fey all paid a visit to the lounge over the course of the weekend, and with each visit, Bertolli Sauces and Frozen Meals made a donation to charity on behalf of the stars. A portion of the donation will benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Dream Street Foundation.

During the busy Emmy weekend, what better way for the celebrities to keep up than with Emergen-C! To help support their immune system on the go, stars picked up a year’s supply of the fizzy multivitamin supplement drink mixes.

“Breaking Bad” star Giancarlo Esposito was seen sipping a glass of Super Orange, noting, “I don’t travel without Emergen-C!”

Zerona Body Sculpting Treatments:

While Ginnifer Goodwin shared her beauty secret, drinking a lot of water, on how to get red carpet ready, a sleep-deprived Kerry Washington claimed she wanted to try Zerona so she could lay on the table and catch up on her beauty rest. Tracy Morgan joked and said, “If I can still eat bologna, Spam, and fried okra, and still look good with Zerona, then I’ll try it!”

New Balance:
Celebrities were among the first to get their hands on the newest sneakers from New Balance. Packed with just the right amount of performance, comfort and speed, the sleek New Balance 1010 design will have stars looking great during their fall workouts. On hand to give them revolutionary fitness tips, was celeb trainer and star of ABC’s The Revolution, Harley Pasternak. Kerry Washington from Scandal was excited about the color of her new shoes and said, “I love the blue and orange. I’m a Knicks fan!” Lucy Liu was seen picking up a pair and was visibly excited saying, “I wear my New Balance shoes 24/7!” Nashville star Hayden Panettiere complained about her heels and said, “My feet are killing me. I wish I could wear these New Balance shoes right now.”

TiVo:
Stars welcomed the newest TiVo experience in The Emergen-C Gift Lounge backstage at The Nokia Theatre. Melissa McCarthy was one of the first to check out the new TiVo Premiere 4 DVR and said, “We have the first TiVo ever, it’s ancient. We need this new version to record four shows at once!” Damon Wayans, Jr., alongside Ginnifer Goodwin, was amazed and said, “Wow! It really does everything. You don’t even need a computer now.” Brooke Burke-Charvet also stopped by the booth to check out TiVo Premiere for her new home. Stars were super excited about the Product Lifetime Service!

New Era Cap Co.:
Celebrities loved the New Era Cap Co. hats showcased at the The Emergen-C Gift Lounge backstage at The Nokia Theatre. Stars were picking up everything from their Adjustable 9FIFTY Snapbacks to the Fashion Forward EK Fedoras & Newsboy Caps. Melissa McCarthy was thrilled to find a well-fitting fedora at the station and joked, “I can never find a hat because my head is the size of a 6’5” man.” Award-winning actor Giancarlo Esposito, known as “a real hat guy”, loved the fedoras and said, “I can feel with my hands the quality of a hat. This is a good hat – high quality.” Legendary actor Ron Howard, a collector of hats, loved the newsboy style hat so much he exchanged his hat for the New Era Cap and wore it as he walked around the suite. While Glenn Close was posing “gangster style”, her husband picked out hats for her and said, “She always steals my fedoras!”

Black & Decker PLATINUM Hand Vacuums:
Stars got a first look at Black & Decker’s new line of PLATINUM Hand Vacs that deliver style and performance in The Emergen-C Gift Lounge backstage at the Nokia Theatre. Stars crowded around to get their hands on the PLATINUM Hand vacs – not available to the public yet. Lucy Liu raved, “Oh, this is a blessing! I have two chocolate labs and they shed like there’s something in the water.” Eric Stonestreet of Modern Family loved the new line and said, “I would use it on the red carpet.” 30 Rock actor, Scott Adsit, got carried away and said, “I love it so much I can’t stop. I want to vacuum the whole table.” Award winning actor and director, Giancarlo Esposito, was seen playing with the vacuum’s flexible hose and said, “I didn’t realized you made these, but I can find a lot of uses for them.”

CND Shellac Manicures:
When stars gear up for awards season – they make sure to polish themselves head to toe. To help celebrities prepare for The Emmy Awards, they received the ultimate treatment in The Emergen-C Gift Lounge backstage at The Nokia Theatre – CND Shellac™manicures. As Kat Dennings selected a teal shade to match her character’s personality on Two Broke Girls, she raved about the CND Shellac polish that dries fast and lasts for 14 days, saying, “This is a genius invention.” Iconic actor Ron Howard gladly accepted a luxurious hand massage from the CND professionals after his ten hour flight from London to Los Angeles. Glenn Close stopped by the booth to scope out the CND Shellac shades; however, she was already wearing CND Shellac polish in Romantique!

Kipling:
Stars such as Kerry Washington, Kat Dennings, Sarah Paulson and Lucy Liu left the lounge with goodies in their new Kipling Pelusa Tote.

Ultimate Ears by Logitech:
Celebrities stopped by Ultimate Ears by Logitech at The Emergen-C Gift Lounge backstage at The Nokia Theatre to get custom-molded earphones. Michael J. Fox visited the station with his son who had bought the earphones two years ago and loved them so much he wanted a second pair. Actor Aaron Paul visibly excited said, “I can’t wait to use my earphones when I travel.” When he’s not on the Modern Family set, Eric Stonestreet plays the drums. Before accepting his Emmy award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, Stonestreet cast his earphone impressions backstage so he could use them when he practices.

paper denim & cloth:
Hollywood starlets that stopped by paper denim & cloth to get a sneak peak at the iconic denim brand’s new ready to wear collection included Lucy Liu, Kat Dennings, Sarah Paulson and Kerry Washington.

Aquaswiss Watches:
Aquaswiss showcased their luxurious exclusive collection of men’s and women’s timepieces at The Emergen-C Gift Lounge backstage at The Nokia Theatre. Celeb fans included Damon Wayans Jr. and Ron Howard. Wayans was secretly shopping for a watch for his father, while Howard was easily convinced he is a watch guy, as he fell in love with a brown Aquaswiss watch. Judd Apatow and his wife, Leslie Mann, also visited the station so he could “get his swag on.”

Jill Reno Collection:
Stars were excited by the one-of-a-kind pieces from the Jill Reno Collection. Actress Lucy Liu fell in love with the vintage diamond pieces as she was overheard describing her style as “classic.” She left with a pair of beetle wing earrings and is expected to be seen wearing the jewelry line on the red carpet for an upcoming event. Mario Lopez was shopping for the two ladies in his life, his fiancé and daughter. Lopez selected two Jill Reno Collection necklaces from the cross collection for them. Brooke Burke-Charvet spotted the lemon topaz and diamond earrings and said, “These would show up great on camera.”

Crunch Fitness:
Stars also received a one-year membership to Crunch Fitness.

Holly McClain Designs:
Stars also received a gift card for Holly McClain Designs hand-crafted elegant dog collars embellished with Swarovski crystals, satin ribbon rosettes and glass pearls.
