“True Blood” sweethearts Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer were married just a week ago, but on the red carpet at the Emmys on Sunday, the couple was still enjoying their wedded bliss.
“She’s beautiful,” Stephen told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson of his new bride.
Stephen also revealed a sexy new detail from the couple’s Venice, Calif., nuptials – the two had a private moment following their “I dos.”
“What moment stands out during your ceremony?” Shaun asked.
“There was quite a nice minute when we walked away where we had about 10 or 15 minutes by ourselves,” Stephen said with a smile, not budging on further details.
“Where you talked about life?” Shaun probed.
“Yeah, that kind of thing,” Stephen said with giggle. “We talked. That’ll be it.”
When asked if they plan to change their names and maybe hyphenate Paquin-Moyer now that they are married, Anna said the couple is still figuring things out.
“I don’t know,” she said.
While Anna and Stephen play lovers on “True Blood” – Merlotte’s waitress (and telepath) Sookie Stackhouse, and vampire Bill Compton – it’s easy to keep their personal romance and on screen romance separate.
“Our job comes first and we’re both wonderfully obsessive about our work,” Anna told Shaun.
“And we’ve been doing it a long while… We’ve been doing the show a long while and we’ve been acting a long while. We just do the job,” Stephen added.
