Studio Rep: ‘No Decisions’ Made For Snow White And The Huntsman Sequel; Stewart Not Dropped

A “Snow White and the Huntsman” sequel without the fairest in the land?

Rumors and reports of a shakeup on the “Snow White and the Huntsman” sequel are running rampant – with some claiming Kristen Stewart is getting the axe – but a Universal spokesperson tells Access Hollywood otherwise.

“We are exploring options to continue the franchise,” the studio rep said in a statement to Access. “And no decisions have been made.”

Some reports have suggested that Chris Hemsworth’s Huntsman character could get his own spinoff, with Stewart – who is embroiled in a cheating scandal with director Rupert Sanders – playing a smaller role in the next film.

Additionally, Universal Co-Chairman Donna Langley released a statement to Access on Wednesday about Stewart’s future with the project.

“We are extremely proud of ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ and we’re currently exploring all options to continue the franchise. Any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false,” his statement read.

Next up, Kristen will be reunited with Robert Pattinson (at least on the big screen) in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” in theaters on November 16.
