Meet “Supergirl’s” Red Tornado!

The first look at Iddo Goldberg in his Red Tornado costume was released on Saturday.

Iddo (“Salem”) plays Dr. T.O. Morrow, AKA Red Tornado, in the CBS superhero drama.

According to the studio, Red Tornado “is the most advanced android the world has ever seen. Designed by scientist T.O. Morrow for the U.S. Army as the ultimate superweapon, he soon becomes sentient, posing a grave danger to National City — including the people Supergirl cares about most.”

Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed that Red Tornado was coming to “Supergirl” during the Television Critics Association Summer Tour in August.

“We’re also going to be introducing a bunch of characters from the DC Comics world in the first nine episodes,” Kreisberg told reporters.

“We’re having Lucy Lane,” he continued, referring to the character that is being played by Jenna Dewan Tatum. “But we’re also going to be having her father, General Sam Lane, [who] will be coming to town with an agenda. We’re also going to have the Red Tornado who’s another DC Comics iconic character, and then, we’re also going to be introducing Non, a Kryptonian villain.”

“Supergirl,” starring Melissa Benoist, premieres Monday, October 26 at 8:30 PM ET/PT on CBS.
