“Supergirl” is about to get a very famous visitor in Season 2 – her, cousin, Superman!
Producers behind The CW drama (which previously aired on CBS) are in the
process of bringing the superhero to Season 2.
“Greg [Berlanti], Ali [Adler] and I are beyond thrilled to welcome Clark Kent and his slightly-more-famous alter ego to the world of ‘Supergirl,'” Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg said in a statement. “Superman will be appearing in the first two episodes of the new season and we cannot wait to see who next dons the red cape!”

Casting for the Clark Kent/Superman role is currently underway.
Clark Kent/Superman was mentioned throughout Season 1 of the series. In addition to being Kara’s cousin, he’s also James Olsen’s good friend.
