Taylor Swift posted it on Wednesday, but it might be the most epic (non) Throwback Thursday shot ever!
To celebrate her latest album, “1989” selling 1.287 million copies in its first week, Tay dug in her family photo archives and showed off a look she has yet to rock on a red carpet.
“The last time an album sold as many copies as 1989 did first week, it was 2002, I was 12, and going through my ‘braids phase’. #nofilternecessary,” the singer wrote in the photo caption.

The singer’s latest album is the biggest since Eminem’s “The Eminem Show” sold 1.322 million copies in 2002.
We can only hope that Taylor’s continued success with garner even more epic throwback photos from her photo vault.
