Taylor Swift Honored By Ex-Boyfriend’s Dad

When it comes to honoring Taylor Swift, the Kennedy family didn’t let her personal life get in the way of the good the singer has accomplished.

The 22-year-old received the Ripple of Hope Award from the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights on Monday night in New York City.

Her ex, Conor Kennedy, was not in attendance, E! Online reported.

Taylor’s current beau, One Direction’s Harry Styles, was also missing from the gala that had Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria, Melanie Griffith, Antonio Sabato Jr. and Cheryl Hines attending.

Taylor opted to have pal Dianna Agron as her date. Harry was busy performing at New York City’s Madison Square.

The Ripple of Hope Award is awarded to individuals committed to social change.

In addition to being on hand for her honor, Taylor performed her song “Starlight,” which is reportedly inspired by Ethel Kennedy.
