Taylor Swift On Pulling ‘Saturday Night Live’ Double-Duty: ‘I’m Down For Anything’

Taylor Swift will be pulling double-duty on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, and according to the singer, nothing’s off limits.

“If they want to do like a rap, gangsta skit, I’ll do it,” Taylor told Access Hollywood special correspondent Quddus as she prepared for her big Saturday night, recalling her performance with T-Pain at the CMT Awards. “I’m down for anything.”

And while she’s known for being a multi-platinum singer, Taylor said she’s ready for an evening of both music and comedy on Saturday.

“I started out in children’s theater and doing sketch comedy shows,” the country cutie said. “‘SNL’ is what you want to get to when you’re in that realm of things – music is my first love, but being involved in the theater aspect of it was really fun.”

Still, she said it’ll be tricky to juggle hosting duties with her musical ones.

“I really wanna be completely involved like a regular, but then I’d also have to perform too, so [it’s] gonna be some quick changes,” she said.

With a promo for the episode featuring a goof on her infamous interruption by Kanye West at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Taylor said she didn’t know what the show would satirize this weekend.

“It’s been sort of a boring year, there’s really not much to address at all,” Taylor joked.

One thing she’ll be sure to showcase is a new track from the just-released deluxe version of her best-selling sophomore album, “Fearless,” which includes six additional songs.

“I’m gonna perform one of the new songs on the show,” Taylor revealed. “I’m really excited about the reception that people have given me to the new songs.”
