Taylor Swift Performs With Fifth Harmony: ‘They Have A Sixth Member Tonight!’

Talk about perfect “Harmony”! Taylor Swift struck a special chord on Friday night when she added five new members to her onstage squad.

The superstar performed with pop sensations Fifth Harmony during her concert in Santa Clara, Calif., and referred to herself as the “sixth member” of the girl group before kicking off a live collaboration of their platinum hit “Worth It.”

Taylor previewed Fifth Harmony’s appearance with kind words, lauding the guest stars for having “one of the biggest smash hit singles in the country right now” and “one of the most powerful and loyal fan bases in the world.”

She also teased that they were even sweet enough to lend her one of their glittery blue costumes for the occasion, courtesy of designer Marina Toybina. 

Camila Cabello, Normani Hamilton, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke and Dinah-Jane Hansen then joined the “Shake It Off” singer in front of the Levi’s Stadium audience and dove into a high-energy number that may have caused Taylor to rethink her solo career.

“I want to be in Fifth Harmony,” she Tweeted after the show, alongside pics of all six ladies dancing together and hugging on stage.

The “X Factor” alums were equally excited for the opportunity, with each member sharing their gratitude on social media.

“I will remember this moment for the rest of my life. Thank you so much, Taylor,” Ally wrote on Instagram.

“IT WAS HARD TO KEEP IT A SECRET. Ohhh mah gosh!! tonight was AMAZEBALLZ !!” Dinah-Jane said.

The Fifth Harmony girls are the latest artists to cameo on Taylor’s sold-out “1989” world tour. Other high-profile celebrity surprises have included Jason Derulo, Nick Jonas, Lorde, Fetty Wap, The Weeknd and Rachel Platten.
