Taylor Swift Thanks Fans, Celebs For Their Post-VMA Support

Taylor Swift is ready to put Kanye West’s stage interruption at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards behind her, but the paparazzi aren’t. The pack of snappers and videographers has been trailing the country-pop crossover star since Sunday’s incident.

”[It’s] definitely been an interesting week, I can tell you that,” Taylor told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush for “The Billy Bush Show” on Friday morning.

Although the 19-year-old “Fearless” singer is done talking about Kanye, she is thankful for the kind words that have come her way from across the world and from celebrities including Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Janet Jackson, Miley Cyrus and John Mayer.

“I just really appreciate all the support and the love that’s been sent my way,” she told Billy.

And then there is Taylor’s mother, Andrea, who reportedly gave Kanye a telling off after he interrupted her daughter while she accepted her Best Female Video Award at the VMAs.

“My mom is awesome and she’s wonderful to have on the road and she’s very real,” Taylor said. “And she’s first and foremost a mom.”
