Taylor Swift To Host & Perform On ‘SNL’

Taylor Swift might have the last laugh when it comes to her infamous VMA moment with Kanye West – the country cutie is slated to host and perform on “Saturday Night Live,” Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Taylor, who will appear on “SNL” on November 7, told Associated Press that heading up the popular sketch comedy show is “mind-blowing,” adding, “I love being around people who I feel have a different kind of creative genius. And the funny genius is definitely a fascinating one to be around.”

And it appears Taylor already has a few ideas planned.

“I’ve been thinking about skit ideas for a long time,” the 19-year-old told the AP. “There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits.”

Following in the footsteps of Justin Timberlake, Taylor hopes to work with cast member Andy Samberg, possibly on a digital short of her own.

“Of course I’ve been such a fan for a long time, but I’ve gone back and re-watched everything over the past couple of months and digital shorts would be so much fun to do, because they’ve been done so well,” she told the AP. “Andy Samberg is hilarious.”

Taylor previously appeared on “SNL” in January as the musical guest. The singer is also slated to appear on “Dancing With the Stars” on October 27.
