A slew of teen celebrities got in the Halloween spirit over the weekend, attending the 30th Annual Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times Halloween Carnival, including Disney stars Bella Thorne, Olivia Holt and Roshon Fegan, “Diary of Wimpy Kid” star Zachary Gordon and “Modern Family’s” Ariel Winter, Rico Rodriguez and Nolan Gould.
The all-day event featured food from top LA restaurants, rides, carnival games and a performance by “American Idol’s” Pia Toscano and “Dancing with the Stars” Mark Ballas.
Ballas was one of the few adults to walk the orange-themed carpet. “Anything to do with charity and helping children I’m all about,” Ballas told Access. “I love kids. I’m just happy to be a part of it. I like giving back.”
“Shake it Up Star” Thorne came dressed to impress in her Halloween costume, Poison Ivy. “I wanted to be Poison Ivy for a long time,” she told us. “I think she’s such a cool villain. I love the the leaves. I think people are going to mistake me as mother nature though!”
Bella brought along her adorable dog Kingston who was sporting a doggie biker costume as well as her boyfriend Tristan in a red baseball costume.
“Modern Family’s” Winter forewent her Disney namesake Ariel and instead went as Princess Jasmine. The midriff=baring costume was a little more revealing than she bargained for.
“I bought it online and I wasn’t really aware,” Winter laughed.
Her co-star, Nolan Gould, skipped the costume and joked he came “as Modern Family’s Nolan Gould.” At 14-years-old, Gould recently tested out of high school and told us about his future plans.
“I studied a lot over the summer and I took this test and tested out of high school. So now, I can, legally I’m 18 so I have a choice of what I want to do for school,” he explained. “I’m gonna finish out some imporant classes like consumer math and then I might go to college online.
Gould says he will stick around “Modern Family” as long as they will have him but eventually plans to attend college full time. “I’m thinking big I maybe want to go to Yale or one of the nice Ivy League schools.”
