Teri Hatcher’s New Man: Jack The Bulldog

With the fifth annual Puppy Bowl set for Sunday, it seems like celebs everywhere are going to the dogs.

“I got a new dog,” “Desperate Housewives” star Teri Hatcher revealed to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush on Friday. “I got an American bulldog named Jack I rescued.”

And while the single actress told Billy that she’s dating, it’s Jack who’s been sharing her bed.

“He’s not a big shedder,” she said. “But he does snore. I have to wear earplugs when he sleeps with me.”

The bulldog is the latest addition to the Hatcher home, which also includes two more dogs, three cats, a bunny, two birds and a horse.

“You’re the animal lady!” Billy told her.

“It was so funny,” Teri said. “My daughter wanted me to get another cat. I said, ‘Honey, we can’t have four cats, then I’m like the crazy single lady with all the cats.’ And she goes, ‘No, Mom, that’s five. Five is when you become the crazy single cat lady.’”

And while Teri said she’s not looking for any more pets, it’s the pets who come to her.

“I can’t say no,” she said.

She’s not the only star who’s been helping canines. As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Katherine Heigl and her mom, Nancy, recently teamed up with the Pup My Ride animal rescue program to help shelter dogs.

“Over 600 dogs have been saved and adopted,” the “Grey’s Anatomy” star told Access.

Including a lucky six who have gone home with Katherine.

“I think my husband’s ready to kill me,” Katherine said of her husband of one year, Josh Kelley. “But you know what? The last one was his idea. Someone had literally thrown him out, and he was probably at the time, three or four weeks old… Josh said, ‘I think we should take this one home.’”
