The Bachelorette Season 9 To Premiere On ABC In May

“The Bachelorette” heads back to ABC this May.

ABC announced on Monday that the reality show, which attempts to help find one woman a romantic match, will premiere on Monday, May 20 at 9 PM ET/PT on the network.

The show will have a two-hour season premiere. The following week, the show will move to its regular time slot of 8-10 PM on ABC.

This will be “The Bachelorette’s” ninth season.

The new “Bachelorette” will be revealed during “The Bachelor: After the Final Rose,” airing Monday, March 11 at 10:01 PM ET/PT on ABC. Emily Maynard was the last “Bachelorette,” but later split with her pick — Jef Holm. Ashley Hebert was the last lady seeking love, who did so successfully. She married J.P. Rosenbaum last year.

In related TV news, ABC also revealed that its new drama, “Mistresses,” based on the BBC America series of the same name, will premiere on May 27.

The show stars Alyssa Milano and “Lost’s” Yunjin Kim.
