‘The Biggest Loser’ Crowns New Winner!

The race to the “The Biggest Loser” finish line was tight. The Season 16 champion won by only one pound!

Toma Dobrosavljevic took home the title and the $250,000 grand prize by dropping 171 pounds and 50.89 percent of his original weight.

He joined the show at 336 pounds and the scale read only 165 pounds during his final weigh in on Thursday’s live finale on NBC.

Coming in a very close second was Sonya Jones, who was the biggest loser on the ranch. She started at 283 pounds and dropped 144 pounds, currently weighing in at 139 pounds good for a 50.88 percent loss.

“Regardless of what that scale says, we have won,” Sonya said moments before the winner was announced.

Rob Guiry was not far behind. He tipped the scale at 483 pounds when he entered the competition. His dedication to exercise and nutrition helped him drop 238 pounds to finish at a current weight of 245 pounds (a 49.28 percent loss).
