The Hoff Headed To ‘Britain’s Got Talent’

The Hoff has landed (yet another) new gig!

David Hasselhoff is headed across the pond to join the judges’ panel at “Britain’s Got Talent,” according to Entertainment Weekly.

The 58-year-old star, who spent four years as a judge on “America’s Got Talent,” will reportedly join British comedian Michael McIntyre, as well as (existing judge) Amanda Holden on the panel. The show’s creator, Simon Cowell, will also reportedly make occasional appearances during live portions of the show this upcoming season.

The UK move comes less than a week after A&E canceled the actor’s new reality series, “The Hasselhoffs.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, according to New York Magazine’s Vulture blog, (who first reported the news), the reality show about the David and his two daughters, Taylor-Ann and Hayley, was a victim of low ratings.

The premiere pulled in 718,000 viewers and the second episode only had 505,000 pairs of eyes tuning in.

By contrast, NY Mag pointed out that A&E’s “Storage Wars” – a reality series about people bidding on abandoned storage units – had an impressive 2 million viewers for its premiere.
