The Hoff’s Former ‘Talent’ Colleagues On His ‘Dancing’ Chances – ‘He’s Going To Be Hoff The Chain’

In the off chance that David Hasselhoff finds himself lacking fans on “Dancing with the Stars,” he can rest assured knowing he’ll have the full support of his former “America’s Got Talent” colleagues.

“I think [David’s] going to do great on the show,” judge Sharon Osbourne told Access, at the ‘America’s Got Talent’ results show on Wednesday night. “He’s going to have a blast with those girl dancers… he’s going to be in hog heaven.”

Sharon is no stranger to “Dancing with the Stars” — she and husband Ozzy Osbourne were on hand to support their daughter Kelly during her Season 9 ‘Dancing’ stint. The heavy-metal matriarch told Access she plans to support The Hoff in person.

“Oh, try keeping me away!” Sharon said. “I love the show. I will be there, yeah, definitely.”

“America’s Got Talent” host Nick Cannon said David will definitely have his vote.

“That guy — he knows how to stay employed doesn’t he?” Nick joked. “I’m voting for the Hoff. He’s going to be Hoff the chain… Hoff the dance floor… All that Hofful stuff.”

As for judge Howie Mandel, the former “Deal or No Deal” host said he thinks David will be “fantastic,” and made a surprising realization.

“You know what’s interesting, David Hasselhoff is on the show and Brandy is on the show,” Howie said. “They were both judges on ‘America’s Got Talent.’ Do you realize that makes me four years away from dancing?”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, David’s pro dancing partner, Kym Johnson, is thrilled to be partnered with The Hoff, who she said has a “great attitude.”

“He’s not gonna be too serious, so that’s great… That’s the perfect partner,” Kym said. “He’s not afraid to just go there and put himself out [there], so I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun.”

See The Hoff make his “Dancing” debut on the two-hour season premiere of “Dancing with the Stars” on Monday, September 20 at 8 PM on ABC.
