New York, Aug. 8, 2006 — Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker has filed for divorce from his wife and costar Shanna Moakler, People magazine has confirmed exclusively.
“I can confirm that Travis filed this morning,” Barker’s rep, Dvora Vener, told People.
Moakler told People: “My only concern right now is for the welfare and best interests of my children.”
Travis and Shannon make the third MTV celebrityduo to fall apart.
Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro got hitched on camera on “‘Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave” — then called it quits less than three years later.
And who could forget the original MTV supercouple — “Newlyweds’” Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey — whose divorce was finalized in June.
