The Muppets To Appear On Good Luck Charlie Season 4 Premiere (Access Exclusive)

The Muppets will join Disney Channel’s hit family comedy “Good Luck Charlie” for its Season 4 premiere, AccessHollywood.com can exclusively reveal.

Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and Animal join series stars Bridgit Mendler and Leigh-Allyn Baker to perform a show-stopping original song, described as “Muppet-ational” by Disney Channel on Sunday April 28 at 7:30 PM ET/PT.

In the premiere episode, the Duncan Family decides to build their dream house after the family home is devastated by termites. Everyone, with the exception of Charlie (played by Mia Talerico), is excited at the prospect of a new and larger home. However, Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) has a change of heart after a dream in which Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and Animal convince her that the old family home is really the house of her dreams.

AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman was on the set of the Disney Channel series, where she spoke with Miss Piggy about her guest-starring spot.

”[The Duncans] let me take over their home, which is actually good for them, as everybody knows having a star in your home increases property values,” Miss Piggy said.

But, did the Duncan family (which has five kids) intimidate Miss Piggy at all?

“Five kids? That’s nothing compared to a bunch of chickens and bears and all sorts of other animals,” she said.

What about inspiring her to start a family with her longtime love?

“Hey, Kermit! When are we getting on the family train, huh? Huh?!” Miss Piggy yelled to Kermit during the interview.

As for what Miss Piggy and Kermit’s kids might be – the diva wasn’t so sure!

“What would they be… little… little figs?” she wondered, and then settled on a suggestion from Laura. “Froglets… I like that!”
