“The Newsroom: The Complete First Season” hits stores on June 11 and AccessHollywood.com has an exclusive first look at a bonus clip from the release.
The clip, from “The Rundown” portion of the bonus features, shows Creator/Executive Producer Aaron Sorkin discussing shooting the opening scene in the HBO series with some of the cast, including Jeff Daniels and Emily Mortimer.
In the clip (at the link below), Sorkin reveals what it was about shooting that particular scene that made him, “the most frightened” he’s “ever been.”

“The Newsroom: The Complete First Season,” looking at the lives of a team of journalists making a cable news program, debuts on Blu-ray with HBO Select, DVD and Digital Download on June 11.
The Blu-ray and DVD bonus features include “Mission Control,” which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the state-of-the-art sets with cast and crew. “The Rundown” features the executive producers (as well as Jeff, Emily and Sam Waterson) discussing shooting the first season. There are also deleted scenes, five audio commentaries, “Inside the Episodes” and episodic previews and recaps.
