‘The View’ Announces Panelists Joy Behar, Candace Cameron Bure & Paula Faris

Joy Behar is returning to “The View,” alongside two newcomers to the panel.

ABC announced that Joy will join “Fuller House” star Candace Cameron Bure and “Good Morning America” weekend co-anchor Paula Faris on the Season 19 panel.

“Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in,” Joy said in a statement. “Plus, [my husband] Steve [Janowitz] was getting tired of applauding every time I gave my opinion. But I’m happy to be back home. And I’m looking forward to sticking my two cents into the hot topics, especially now that Hillary and the Donald are in the spotlight.”

The ladies join a panel that already includes moderator Whoopi Goldberg, and co-hosts Raven-Symone and Michelle Collins.

Various reports across the media in July had linked Candace and Paula to the panel, so the announcement that they are on board doesn’t come as a big surprise. In July, Joy told WBAZ’s Walker Vreeland that the two parties were not able to come to an agreement about a deal.

“They’ve come to me and we couldn’t make a deal. I think that – we’ll see how it goes,” Joy said at the time, not ruling out what turned out to be her return.

Joy spent 16 seasons on “The View,” leaving in 2013.
