“The Voice’s” Sasha Allen has some superstar support behind her as she enters the semi-final of the NBC singing competition — from Christina Aguilera!
“Christina Tweeted me. She Tweeted me and she said, ‘Let’s win this!’” Sasha said on Friday (at a roundtable with a small group of reporters) when AccessHollywood.com asked if she had heard from the “Beautiful” singer.
Sasha, who is on Team Shakira, said that she picked up tips from her time working for Christina.

“I’ve sung for her for a long time and actually, she is such a hard worker and she has shown me — through doing tours with her — that dedication, hard work and repetition… you have the tools, but you have to work hard. That’s the only way.”
Sasha gave one of her most memorable performances on “The Voice” on Monday’s show, when she took on Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats.” She made a big impression not only with the song, but with her stage performance — one that saw her enter wearing a red, full length dress, which she ripped off to reveal a sexy black outfit, and over-the-knee boots.
And the reaction since have made the young mom feel pretty good.
“People have noticed that, you know, I’m a mother of two, and I still got it,” she smiled. “So, thank God. I feel like I still have it, a little sass, a little spunk. And I think it’s good for mothers to know too that just ‘cause you have kids [doesn’t] mean you’re not sexy anymore.”
Sasha’s performance was also a hit with her 7-year-old daughter.
“My daughter, she was like, ‘Oh my God! That was like the best part! You ripped off your dress. How did you do that?’” Sasha recounted. “And my mom was really excited. She’s like, ‘Who is that?’”
