The Voice: What Is Season 2’s Tony Lucca Up To Now?

Tony Lucca was a favorite during “The Voice” Season 2, and in a new interview, he told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman he’s fully engaged in putting a brand new album together for his boss – and former coach – Adam Levine.

“I’ve had a busy, busy summer,” Tony told Laura at one of the final “The Voice” Season 3 tapings. “Adam has had a huge summer, and we’re just now getting to where were putting the mechanics of the album and the project together.”

Adam signed Tony to his 222 Records earlier this year, and the former “Mouseketeer” (he, of course, was castmates with Britney Spears and exiting “The Voice” coach Christina Aguilera), explained how the two are working together.

“He is attached to the project — overseeing it,” Tony said. “It opens a lot of doors and it invites a lot of people into the project that certainly wouldn’t have been there otherwise. Once the project is shaping up and we’re getting ready to market it [and] promote it, he will be indispensable, and very helpful. He’s there to just kind of make sure that we don’t get too far off in any one direction, or off track and we stay consistent with it and more so just moral support at this point and that’s fine by me.”

Once Tony is done with his upcoming effort, he’s hoping to head back to a familiar NBC stomping ground.

“Working on the project is my priority right now, getting the right single together and certainly, once we do, you can bet, I’ll be making my way back to ‘The Voice’ stage to say ‘Hi,’” he said.
