Timberlake, Legend, Sting & Miranda To Perform At Oscars

Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Sting and Lin-Manuel Miranda will perform at
this year’s Academy Awards.

Auli’i Cravalho will join Lin-Manuel to perform his Oscar-nominated song “How Far I’ll Go,” from “Moana.” 

Sting will perform “The Empty Chair” from “Jim: The James
Foley Story.” Sting co-wrote the Oscar-nominated song with J. Ralph.

Justin Timberlake will perform “Can’t Stop The Feeling,” the Oscar-nominated song from “Trolls,” which he wrote with Max Martin and Karl Johan Schuster.

John Legend (who won an Oscar in 2014 for the original song from “Selma”) will perform “Audition” and “City of Stars” from “La La Land,” with music by Justin Hurwitz, and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Both of those songs are nominated in the Music (Original Score) category.

“We’re thrilled to welcome these world-class artists to the Oscars. These performances will not only celebrate the five extraordinary nominated original songs, but also the integral part music plays in movies,” Oscars producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd said in a statement.

The 89th Oscars air Sunday, Feb. 26 at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT on ABC.
