Tina Fey Considers Hosting Golden Globes With Amy Poehler ‘Without Stinking It Up’

Now that award season has kicked off with the Emmys, many want to know if Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will return to host the Golden Globes in 2014 – and the Emmy-winning Tina says she’s interested – if they can keep it fresh – literally!

Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson caught up with Tina backstage after taking home the award for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series for “30 Rock,” where the star dished on the possibility of returning to the hosting world.

“Amy and I, we’ll talk about it tonight,” Tina said.

“Meaning, if you will accept [NBC’s] offer?” Shaun asked.

“Well, that sounds haughty, but yes,” Tina continued. “If we feel like we have like three more jokes left in our joke bag.”

If Tina and Amy return, the writer/actress explained – in a very Tina way – that she wants to top last year’s job.

“NBC invited us back and so we’re going to see if we think we can do it without stinking it up,” she said.

But long before the Globes get here, Tina’s hosting duties will take her to “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.

“I’m going to go [to New York] and start working tomorrow,” she told Shaun.

But will fans see any of her past “SNL” characters resurface on the season premiere – like maybe Sarah Palin?

“Because I don’t have anything else,” Tina joked, regarding the former Vice Presidential candidate. “So, we’re in trouble!”

Catch Tina Fey on the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” with musical guest Arcade Fire on September 28 on NBC.
